The post shares a photographic journey of El Salvador's historic sites, Joya de Ceren and Tazumal, visited in one day while in Santa Ana. Joya de Ceren, known as the 'Pompei of Central America', was an ancient village buried by volcanic ash. Tazumal features ancient structures, with the main pyramid dating between 100AD and 800AD.
