Hi There!
Yes another week and some more interesting currencies to share. Principally the Egyptian Pound, worth around 20 to the Australian dollar and around 31 to the USD. Sorry I only kept one Turkish Lira note, the 5 Lira note. The Turkish Lira comes in at a very similar rate, just under 20 to the Australian Dollar and around 30 to the USD.

During my last stay in Istanbul, I managed to avoid having to change any money; the Visa card was enough for me. Perhaps this will make these posts obsolete one day, or piece of history.
who knows? it will depend on the country. Some countries still run a mostly cash economies. and in some cash is scarce.
