Marrakesh is a very attractive place, and also a great spot to set out on day trips from and see the local area. There are other multi-day possibilities as well. I chose – well we, I was travelling with my friend Graham, chose to take the day trip to the Ouzoud Falls. I certainly was taken aback by just how picturesque and indeed big these falls were, there was even a boat at the bottom which took you pretty close to being under the falls. It’s a very popular day trip from Marrakesh and there are dozens of tours heading there. You take a walk from the top to the bottom, taking in a demonstration of producing Argan Oil via a stone grinder on the way and passing many monkeys too. I’ll do a full review in the future, but for now enjoy the images!
