From Around the Web – The Wagah Border Ceremony!

A couple of days ago I did a City Rumble featuring Amritsar and Lahore (see City Rumble – Amritsar Versus Lahore) and I mentioned the changing of the guard ceremony (actually it’s the closing of the border ceremony) at the India-Pakistan border between the two countries. I haven’t personally seen it sadly, but there are a few videos up on YouTube fortunately and I thought I would share a couple with you today so you can what it’s all about! Enjoy!

Thanks for popping by! May the Journey Never End!

  1. Sorry for the French above, got distrated by the show 🙂
    It reads:
It seems so crazy, how can you take an Indian or Pakistani border guard seriously after that.

  2. Super interesting and what a show! It’s like an event in itself and I read that they do this every day. I am sorry you couldn’t see it while you were there Andy.
