I didn’t get to go to Peles Castle when I was in Romania; I went to Bran Castle instead. But Peles looks even more elegant than Bran, and I hope to return to Romania to see it for myself! Thanks for sharing your photos and adventures, Andy. 🙂

No contest. Peles is fantastic. Bran (we thought) was boring and full of tourists and posters of Hotel Transylvania. Very commercial.

Not sure when you’ve been there but I believe you were allowed to take photos inside, but you had to pay a tax.. I’m still sorry to this day I have not paid that tax when we went there, but I remember it was an outrageous amount. Have a nice weekend!

I’ve always wanted to go to Romania because I heard about the beautiful castles there. So many places in my list go to so little time
