Hello, and welcome to another ‘Through My Lens’. Today I feature a series of shots from Sri Lanka, a place I loved visiting and wish I had way more time there. I really only visited Kandy and surrounds (including a day trip to the amazing Sigiriya) as well as a bit of time in Colombo suburbs. My wife and I stayed with a family for a few days after I’d been pick pocketed on the train bound for Galle, where we sadly didn’t make it too.
Nevertheless Sri Lanka was clearly a wonderful place and I hope to return someday – we have in the back of our minds it might be a goer in early 2018. But yes, that’s a LONG way in the future! Hope these pictures inspire you to visit this simply amazing, warm and friendly country!

Thanks for stopping by today! Take care and May the Journey Never End!

One word (actually, two) – Looks exotic!!!
Each photo is better than the previous one! So much like.
Great memories here too ❤ Just looking at those steps at Sigiriya bring back the sore leg muscles…
but such a rewarding climb!
